Terms and Conditions

We, as parents or guardians of student listed above, do affirm the school’s goals of pursuing academic excellence and character training. As parents (or guardians), we agree to encourage and reinforce these same goals in our homes as well. We understand that Legacy will promote a Christian school environment. This will include prayer, biblical teaching, belief in Christian principles, doctrines, and ethics that are found in the Bible, and in the conservative values that this country was founded upon.
We pledge our loyalty to the aims and ideals of Legacy Christian Academy and will bring any criticisms directly to the administration so that they may be properly dealt with by those in authority. We further pledge to not gossip or criticize the school, its mission, and its personnel.
We pledge that if, for any reason, our child does not meet the academic requirements or cooperate with the disciplinary standards (these standards include care of school property, conduct, and behavior) of Legacy, we will withdraw without delay and will cooperate with the administration to make the withdrawal as quiet as possible, avoiding discussion with those not involved, so as to divert a spirit of dissension and division at either our child’s or the school’s expense. Legacy reserves the right to dismiss, suspend, or otherwise discipline any student or parent who does not adhere to the standards stated in the student and parent guidelines.
Students are accepted on a trial basis for the first grading period.
Legacy agrees to work closely with the parents or guardian in helping the students to learn and to solve their school-related problems. This will include the provision of competent teachers, a full and balanced curriculum, regular reporting, supervision of the children and the program, and cooperation with the home.
Tuition and fees to be paid this year will be based on the rates published in the current tuition schedule, which has been given to us and reviewed carefully.
Tuition payments are due on or before the first business day of each month and considered late after the 5th business day. A late fee of $25.00 will be charged for any late tuition payment. If tuition has not been received by the 15th of the month, Legacy will drop the child’s name from the enrollment and the child will not be allowed to attend class. There will be an annual tuition to be divided by 10 payments of equal amounts for the months of July, September through May.
Late fees are also charged for children who are picked up after 6:30. There is a flat $5.00 charge for the first five minutes and an additional fee of $1.00 charged for every one minute thereafter. This late pickup fee will be added to your monthly tuition by the Administrative Assistant. All students remaining l5 minutes after their designated pick-up time will be sent to Legacy After School and charged the after school rate.
Any fees paid by check which are returned due to insufficient funds will be assessed a $25.00 service charge. In this case, Legacy will ask for a replacement check to be submitted to the front office within 7-10 business days.
The Registration Fee, Book/Equipment/Supply Fee, and Special Events Fee are non-refundable and non-transferable.
We understand this Parent/School Agreement is a binding financial obligation. Should a termination during the year become necessary, tuition will not be pro-rated on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis and the security deposit will not be refunded. All fees are payable in full when a student enters school and are non-refundable and non-transferable.
In the event of a student withdrawal without 30 days written notice, it will be necessary to charge a full month’s tuition and will result in forfeiture of the security deposit.
