Our total school enrollment is currently 481 students. We receive approximately 80 applications for our 52 kindergarten spots each year. Because of the competitive ratio of applications to available openings, it is important to pay close attention to all deadlines when completing the application.
Since we evaluate the "whole student" when considering applicants for admission, it is difficult to place a minimum requirement for admission. We take into consideration academic performance at the student's preschool or previous elementary school, our own academic assessment results, standardized test scores, and in some cases a parent and student interview. We also pay close attention to personal recommendations, leadership potential and extra-curricular involvement, and a student's attitude towards school performance.
Legacy has consistently scored in the 90th percentile or better on the Stanford Achievement Test (10) for the past seventeen years. This standardized test is given to public and private school students across the country and is a nationally normed test that compares our students with others across the country.
Yes! Students are placed on an INTEREST list. This list is not drawn from in a chronological method. When an opening occurs, students are selected from this waiting list based on school readiness and ability to succeed in a high performing academic setting. Waiting lists are not exhausted based on chronological receipt.
Families can schedule a campus tour with the Founder of the school on Tuesday mornings. There are regularly scheduled informational nights and Open Houses that you can also attend. For more information click on "Visiting LCA”.

We believe that both parents have a financial obligation to contribute to their children's educational expenses and consider the assets and income of both natural parents. If either parent has remarried, we will consider the income of the step-parent as well.

Testimonials
"We have been part of the Legacy family for 6 years now and have 2 daughters in 2nd and 6th grades. Legacy has provided them with not only a rigorous academic environment but also with a loving, positive atmosphere in which they have thrived. In this day and age of dwindling school resources and expanding classroom sizes, we have found the ideal setting for our girls to learn: low student/teacher ratios, leveled instruction, and Assistant Teachers in every classroom. In addition, we know that the benefits of enrichment courses such as Music, Art and Spanish will be everlasting. The staff and administration are always eager to partner with families and to work towards the same academic and personal goals. We are truly blessed to have found our home here at Legacy and know that it will be the foundation for lifelong learning and character development."

"We have been a Legacy Christian Academy family for eight years now and cannot be happier with our experience. Our children have the advantage of a strong academic foundation with Legacy’s well-rounded curriculum, in a setting with highly qualified and motivated teachers. The teachers provide an atmosphere conducive to learning at the highest level in a safe, nurturing, and caring environment. Both the teachers and administrators demonstrate their love and care for our children on a daily basis and work to incorporate Christian beliefs, moral development, character building and self confidence into the overall learning experience at Legacy Christian Academy. We feel blessed to be a part of the Legacy family."
