We invite you to join us this summer for another exciting summer camp experience!
Camp Discovery is our educational and athletic based camp experience that has something for everyone. This year we will offer students an opportunity to sharpen, refine, and even master a variety of skills. Join the excellent Legacy instructors for an exciting experience.
Kindergarten Readiness – Students will be captivated with the joy of learning, preview kindergarten skills, and develop habits that will greatly increase their ability to be successful in elementary school.
First Grade Readiness – Students will continue to build and refine reading and math skills in a small, personal and engaging educational setting. This is a wonderful opportunity to help propel students into first grade with confidence!
Second Grade Readiness – Students will review concepts across the core subjects from first grade as well preview skills foundational concepts needed for second grade success.
Anatomy and Physiology – Students will learn about major systems in our body through hands-on, interactive labs and activities. Students will gain experience in laboratory situations and curiosity will be sparked in the medical field. Mrs. Zegan, Legacy’s energetic middle school science teacher, taught Anatomy and Physiology in the Hart District for 5 years. She has adapted this High School curriculum for incoming 6th through 9th grade students.
Algebra Review – A two-week review of Algebra to enhance and strengthen students’ mathematics, Algebra, and reasoning skills before entering Geometry, Algebra 2, or high school. Students will receive purposeful instruction in a small setting with personal help to enrich their skills and enter their next math class with confidence.
Soccer Camp – Legacy Soccer Camp is open to girls and boys of all abilities. This camp is designed by Legacy staff that have a passion for soccer to share their knowledge and experience with of young athletes. Athletes are placed in an exciting soccer environment consisting of camp games, unique fitness learning, challenging skills, and small-sided competitions.
